welcomecuracao.com is an independent travel guide to Curaçao, written in English and Dutch. We cover the island's beaches, Willemstad's historic neighbourhoods, nature, food and the practical side of a trip, from passports and the DI card to car hire and the best time to go. We also look across the water at Aruba, Bonaire and the wider southern Caribbean.
Why we made this guide
Curaçao is one of the most popular long-haul destinations for Dutch and Belgian travellers, and it is increasingly loved by visitors from North America and elsewhere. Yet a lot of information online is outdated, written for cruise passengers only, or hard to trust. We want to give you clear, current and practical answers, in your own language, so you can spend less time searching and more time on the beach.
How we work
Our content is written and maintained by the welcomecuracao.com team. We check facts against official and reliable sources, such as the Curaçao Tourist Board, government websites and the central bank, and we update pages when rules or prices change. We do not publish fake reviews or invented quotes. Read more in our editorial policy.
